LOCAL GUIDE
Dog-friendly Broken Bow
A couple's getaway in the pines, with your best friend along for the ride.
Some trips just feel better with your dog. Broken Bow and Hochatown are full of trails, water, and fresh pine air to explore together. Here's how to plan it.
AT THE CABIN
Room for up to 2 dogs
The Wild Haven welcomes up to 2 dogs under 50 lbs (a pet fee applies). There's a private wooded backyard to sniff around. We just ask that dogs stay off the beds and furniture and out of the hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge.
GET OUTSIDE
Trails and water nearby
Beavers Bend State Park, about 15 minutes away, has miles of shady trails and river views. Keep your dog leashed, bring water, and watch for hot pavement and ticks in warm months.
TIPS FOR THE TRIP
Pack like a pro
Bring their bed, bowls, leash, and a crate for any time they're alone at the cabin. Pack an old towel for muddy paws. And plan a few dog-free hours for the spa ritual, the dome, and the loft.
PLAN YOUR STAY
The Wild Haven is an adults-only, dog-friendly couples cabin in Hochatown with a barrel sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, and private stargazing dome.
